SIXTH STREET RESIDENTIAL TRIPLEX

Designed and developed two houses on a multi-family residential lot: a 1500 SF, 3-bed, 3-bath single-family home and a 1800 SF duplex with flexible living arrangements.

I have had the opportunity to develop this property for myself, taking on the roles of architect and owner. The lot was zoned for multi-family residential and I designed two houses for it. The front house is a 1500 S.F. two story single family with three bedrooms and three bath rooms.The back house is a 1800 SF two story duplex. The lower floor has one bedroom and one bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms,one bath room and a loft.The back house is located off an alley with four parking spaces that fit under the second story of the duplex.

The overall complex has 3200 sf. of living space on a 4800 sf.lot. The complex is designed around a courtyard filled with sunlight and gardens.This is a contemporary design emphasizing open spaces, lots of light, clean minimalist lines and access to the gardens. The mix of different unit types makes for an integrated housing community.
